8. I am forwarding a copy of tala despatch

to the Foreign Office, but, in vicw, of ita nature,

I am seeking your permission before sending 15

elsewhere. If, however, you have no objection, I

shall be grateful if copies can be sent by the

Legation to the other recipients of the Governor'a

letter and to Sir Cecil Clementi himself.
